Progress

Miles had his 15 month doctor's checkup last week. He has grown 2 1/2 inches in 3 months!!! The doctor was STUNNED and said that's how much children his age usually grow in a YEAR!
Miles is walking like a pro now and quickly decided that running was necessary in order to "play football" with Luke! He teeters like he's a little drunk whenever he walks/runs and always has a smile plastered to his face. It's so cute!

We were over at Mom and Dad's house yesterday afternoon. Miles was in a very good mood and was having a great time holding Luke's soccer ball and trying to walk in socks on the slippery wood floor. Lola was clapping and encouraging him (he was really making her laugh!). Then, suddenly, he took the ball, set it on the ground, got in football "center" position and starting screaming "Ahhhhhh!!!!" Like he was saying "Blue 42, down, set, hut-hut, HIKE!" It was sooo hilarious!

Luke has been making progress himself this week. He has been potty-trained for quite awhile now (yay), but I have been too chicken to let him sleep in his undies. However, the last 4 nights in a row - he has awaked to go potty. HOORAY! I don't know how THAT part is so easy, when AWAKE is so hard . . . Huh.

Luke is also really imaginative lately, making up all kinds of clever games, funny conversations that his cars are having, etc. He is also VERY sweet to his little brother, always reassuring him by saying, "Don't worry, Miles! When you get bigger, I'll teach you how to do that!!!" Adorable. His personality is hilarious and he never misses a beat. Yesterday, during the Olympics, a Target commercial came on and he says to my parents, "Target?! Oh! We LOVE Target!" and today a friend from the ward was at our house painting. Luke walked down the hall and said to him, "How ya doin', Stewart!?" Hilarious!
