Last week, when we woke up, there was 5 inches of snow on the ground. Yeah! For whatever reason, Miles refused to let me get him dressed and refused to come out and play. SO (though I've never done this before) - I let Miles stay inside and Luke and I went out. Miles watched from the window.
Another first:
Luke initiated a snowball fight with complete strangers who were at least 4 years older than him!
He was cracking up the entire time and the older boys played along great!
I even heard them say, "Wow! He has an awesome arm!"
Then we made a snowman.
Here he is!
Another funny story:
I was a little nervous leaving Miles inside, so I kept running in every few minutes to check on him. He was either watching us or playing quietly with his cars. However, when Luke and I were coming in for good (cold and hungry and Luke needing to go to the bathroom) Miles had LOCKED the door!!!
I couldn't believe it! I had to knock for 5 minutes - coaxing him the entire time ("Miles! Come on, Miles! Open the door, buddy! Luke needs to go potty . . . ) before he finally came to the door. THEN, when he came to the door, he yelled, "Knock, knock. Who's there!" and laughed hysterically!
He unlocked the door and ran away - still laughing. My little monkey.
