Christmastime

Jacob and I were lucky enough to be able to see every member of BOTH sides of the family this holiday season (except for Jake's sister Rachel and family in Washington). This was a rare blessing, we know - and tons of fun! We were thrilled to introduce them all to baby Miles!

We braved a 13 hour road trip to Dallas with Luke, 2 1/2, and Miles, 6 weeks. It was an adventure to say the least, but well worth it. It was great to spend time with Jacob's dad and family and Luke had a blast playing all day every day with his cousins. He didn't want to come home!

While in Texas we had a few choice cultural experiences including country dancing in a barn/steak house and observing "Dallas women!" Wow! We played plenty of card games ("Mormon Bridge" and Hearts), swam in their pool on Christmas day (?!?!?) and Jacob's stepmom introduced me to a new favorite store: Zara (designer clothing from Spain at Gap prices!) Fun!

After a week there, we came back to Atlanta for more time with my family (who lives 3 minutes from us) including my sister Lindsey - home from BYU for the holidays. We enjoyed shopping, eating and games.
