This was last month, but it's been crazy (moving to a new place - again! more on that later) so -
I'm finally finishing this post I started weeks ago . . .
We were pretty thrilled with the 5 inches of snow the first day . . . however!
That evening Jacob's boss sent everyone home early to beat the bigger approaching storm.
Luke couldn't wait for our play date with friends and jumped into the powder on our porch!
They may blame me for all this.
This is our friend's front yard down the street from us.
Yeah. We made a sledding hill and fort in her yard.
Go, Ada!
Luke trying to snowboard!
After his successful run . . . So cute!
Trying to help Miles get the hang of it.
As you can see, Luke loves the snow as much as me!
Miles liked it, but was not so willing to dive right in to it.

We ate yummy "Cafe Rio" food I made, had a movie night with the kids, then watched Jimmer Fredette work his magic on the BYU basketball court.
We went to bed that night and in the morning we found an additional 11 inches!
It's what they call in these parts a "NorEast-er!" (however that's written)
WE WERE IN HEAVEN!
Here's what we did:
Luke couldn't wait for our play date with friends and jumped into the powder on our porch!
We found our snowman was buried . . .
I LOVED this view! I have a serious love affair with big snow storms! Serious.
Don't tell the people around here, though. It seems not everyone shares my adoration. They may blame me for all this.

This was the house we lived in - the second floor was our apartment.
A cool 125 + year old home.
Sadly, the lady above us - AND the people below us - were not in love with children and the noise they make . . . so this was one of our last weeks in this place.
